About Nankai University
A key multidisciplinary and research-oriented university, Nankai University is directly under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, Located in Tianjin on the border of the sea of Bohai, Nankai Univeristy is the alma mater of our beloved late Premier Zhou Enlai. Nankai University was founded in 1919 and is considered one of the most comprehensive universities with the widest range of disciplines, and it features a balance between the Humanities and the Sciences. The University has 22 academic colleges together with the Graduate School, China APEC Institute, School for Continuing Education, Advanced Vocational School, Modern Distance Education School and Binhai College (independently financed).
