The School of International Education (SIE)

The School of International Education offers various Chinese language Training Programs to international students, such as Elementary Chinese Programs, Business Chinese Programs, Intensive Chinese Programs, Pre-Course Prior to Bachelor Programs, and Chinese Business and Cultural Studies. Typically, more than 900 international students enrol at SIE each Spring and Fall Semester to study the Chinese language and culture. Outside of the classroom, international and domestic students actively participate in organized activities to improve their communication and foreign language skills, and to gain knowledge of different cultures. The School of International Trade and Economics (SITE)

The School of International Trade and Economics is one of China’s leading centers at which to study international trade, finance and economics. With over fifty years’ experience, an outstanding curriculum and extremely competitive entry requirements, SITE has gained international recognition. To meet the diverse needs of international students, and in response to the changing environment and developing faculty, SITE offers international programs of study (instructed in English) leading to Bachelor’s degrees in International Economics, International Trade and Finance and Logistics, which begin every year in the Fall. In the Spring and Fall, SITE also offers international programs of study leading to Master’s degrees in International Graduate Programs in Applied Economics, International Graduate Program in International Business, and International Graduate Program in International Development, and these are also instructed in English. In addition, SITE offers a PhD in Economics, International Trade and Finance taught entirely in English. This course aims to prepare students for positions in non-governmental and business sectors by providing them with an up-to-date theoretical background, analytical techniques and flexible, practical skill in a variety of fields. The Business School

The Business School of UIBE has been the pioneer in applying the business education system of American universities, including the full range of concepts and approaches for business education, as well as the curriculum and course materials for business management, marketing, financial management and accounting. The International MBA program launched in 2006 targets international students who are interested in business management and China-oriented managerial practice.
