About the Indian School of Business
The Indian School of Business (ISB) is a premier business school located at Hyderabad in India. The ISB has been pioneering several best practices in the field of management education in India and in the process has changed the way management education is offered in this part of the world. The ISB was established seven years ago by Rajat Gupta, then Managing Director, Mckinsey and Co Worldwide, along with a group of visionary business leaders and leading academicians from across the world. The ISB Board, consists of heads of Fortune 500 companies, extremely successful entrepreneurs and leading academicians. The school has academic affiliations with The Wharton School, Kellogg School of Management and London Business School. The ISB has set several benchmarks and pioneered several international best practices and people in the field of management education in India – introducing the one year programme, unique portfolio model of faculty, GMAT score as selection criteria, accepting students with prior work experience and diverse backgrounds among others.
