The Financial Times for the first time has ranked the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano among the best European Business Schools.
Today the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano is the only Italian School in the Financial Times table with three Master programs:
- Executive MBA
- Full-time MBA
- Master of Science in Management Engineering
Specifically, the new ranking positions the Executive MBA at number 34. "The Financial Times highly rates the economic system of our country," commented Gianluca Spina, Director of MIP Politecnico di Milano. "In fact our Executive MBA offers the highest level of education to top professionals. To rank it, is to recognize a great value to the participants of the program, and therefore to the Italian enterprises."
The Full-time MBA also achieved a very good result, being positioned 35 in Europe. The Master of Science in Management Engineering is ranked 46, and it is the only Italian Master of Science degree listed in the ranking.
Every year the prestigious British newspaper compiles four rankings: the Full-time MBA; the open enrolment and customised non-degree Executive Education programme; the Masters in Management degrees; and the Executive MBA. The Financial Times rankings largely rely on the alumni feedbacks, and take into account a whole set of parameters including the alumni salary increase after the master programs, and their international exposure.
The Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering, and MIP - the Business School of the University, together form the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano. The School is ranked in the Financial Times for the first time, and pegged 56th in Europe. "Our aim - says Gianluca Spina - is to be ranked among the first 20 Business Schools in the next five years."
