Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore is a private Italian University, founded in Milan in 1921. Master's Programmes
Master's Programmes (1st and 2nd level) are designed with the purpose of offering highly specialised courses, which are increasingly aligned with the changing demands of the business world. The programmes are developed with the input of experts in business, government or social and educational sector and are aimed at turning out graduates who have both skills and knowledge.The aim of the masters is to match scientific content and professional experience and the programmes involve a significant amount of interactive learning.A master programme usually lasts 1 academic year (courses with lectures, laboratories, workshops and internship). An essential part of the master’s degree programme is the internship project whereby students are able to draw on the experience of working with a company/institution. The support of the university and corporate tutors is essential to choose career paths that best suit student’s personal inclinations and skills.
I Level Master’s degree
This level is designed for students who have completed a three-year undergraduate programme.The Master offers the possibility to develop a very specific professional profile for the purpose of immediately entering the business world.
II Level Master’s degree
This level is aimed for professionals who have a previous work experience and need to improve scientific knowledge to turn up their career. Applicants have to possess a four-year or five undergraduate programme.
PHD programmes
Università Cattolica offers the opportunity to gain a respected international PhD qualification allowing successful candidates to embark on a career in academic research, public and private authorities. The three-year doctoral programme combines lectures, seminars and research and exchange programme with links to leading international universities. Scholarships covering fees and living expenses for the whole programme are awarded by the Italian Ministry of Education.
