Offers and Requirements IU's benefits - your advantage: IU is a young, private university, recognized by the Federal State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. It offers high quality programs, accredited by the FIBAA accreditation agency at both Bachelor and Master levels. All classes are taught in English, 50% of our student body comes from outside Germany. With a faculty-student-ratio of ~ 1:7 students enjoy small class sizes and close contact with faculty members. With the trimester system IU Bachelor students earn 210 ECTS credits within 3 years (as compared to 180 required for most Bachelors degrees elsewhere), and get a Masters degree after only 16 months. Most students take advantage of the on-campus housing: 3 minutes walk to classrooms, 10 minutes walk to town center, and less than half a day's train ride to a number of attractive European cities. Bachelor degree programs to choose from: BSc: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology BBA: Bachelor of Business Administration BICoM: Bachelor of Arts in International Communication Management All Bachelor programs at IU are 3 years full-time. Each year comprises 3 trimesters of 13 weeks each (= 4-year program within 3 years). All programs include a company internship, a term abroad at an international partner university, and a final thesis. Masters degree programs: MScCS: Master of Science in Computer Science, full-time 4 trimesters of 13 weeks each (= 2-year program within 16 months) including thesis and optional internship in the 5th trimester. SAP-variant of MScCS: 24 months incl. accompanying project work at SAP Research. MICT: Master of Information and Communication Technology, full-time 5 trimesters of 13 weeks each, including thesis, and compulsory internship in the 5th trimester. The application deadlines are: For German students, international students with a German visa, students from EU countries, the US, Canada, and Switzerland: August 15 For international students applying from Nigeria: December 31 For international students applying from other African countries, China, and Pakistan: May 31 For international students applying from other countries: June 30 For SAP-variant of MScCS: July 9 All this is offered for a reasonable price: Bachelor Programs: 30,000 Euro for 9 trimesters in 3 years, incl. internship and term-abroad. Master Programs: 15,000 Euro for each entire program of 16 - 24 months. Living expenses: on-campus students live on a budget of approx. 6,500 Euro a year including rent, food, books, health insurance, some traveling and social life.
