The International MBA is an 11 month programme designed to build the potential of university graduates with a minimum of two years of post-graduate, full time work experience. Participants in the programme are highly motivated individuals committed to acquiring the training necessary to consolidate their managerial skills and pursue an exhilarating career in the world of international business.
The programme includes classes on managerial skills as well as core courses in finance, marketing, human resources and the business life cycle. Participants have the opportunity to specialise their studies with seminars during the International Week and electives in the final trimester. Students will also have considerable choice in selecting the focus of two major projects with their teams, a marketing plan and a corporate business project.
In spring, EADA hosts the International Weeks, in which visiting professors from all over the world teach two week seminars on current topics related to business management. Seminars change annually, but examples from the 2007-2008 year include Globalization, Multinational Financial Management, and Global Competitive Strategy.
Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to participate in an International Week abroad, a week long international course in another business school in the Americas, Europe, or Asia in June/July. Those that choose to stay in Barcelona will be able to choose from several elective classes to attend at EADA.
Examples of companies where EADA MBA alumni work include: Almirall Prodesfarma,
Johnson & Johnson, KPMG, Marcus Evans, Cadbury Schweppes, and Nestle.
