We concentrate our efforts on generating concepts for the future generation of prefilled devices for treating diabetes mellitus. In this job you will have a huge impact on reforming the way people manage their diabetes treatment.
Drive innovation from idea generation to prototypes
We are continuously launching medical devices for treatment of diabetes in Novo Nordisk, and you and your colleagues are responsible for the next generation device with focus on further development of device handling. Your major focus is to drive innovation, create ideas and generate concept proposal for new devices and device features. Your specialty will be mechanical mechanisms development. In other words, you transform the ideas into concepts and prototypes and make sure that they are generated, evaluated, selected and transferred into robust designs. Besides, it is your job to review the specifications regarding design and test. Until the project is transferred to next phase, you have a leading role in the mechanical development and in tutoring your colleagues in order to reach the agreed targets. Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years’ experience
To be the best qualified for this job, you must have solid experience within mechanical development, and if you have specialised in medical devices, it will definitely be a plus. Moreover, you must possess extremely good insight in the processes for innovative concept generation as well as for creating and challenging design robustness. Pro Engineer is your constant companion, and you know how to plan, specify and coordinate your tasks. As this project is strategically essential, it is of utmost importance that you provide relevant information and activity status to the Project Management. For this you need good communication skills and an open mind as well as the ability never to loose track even when priorities change. Lastly, you contribute actively to a sound and positive cooperation with your closest colleagues, across the organisation, including Lab, Production, QA and Regulatory Affairs.
