Then you could be our new colleague for a nine months’ maternity cover in Next Generation Prefilled 3 in Device Research & Development in Hillerød. We are responsible for the development of next generation prefilled devices for treatment of diabetes mellitus. You will have 9 colleagues that cover both Engineers and Designers – all determined to generate concepts for medical devices.
You advise on user-friendliness and simple designs
Your prime objective will be to ensure that the medical devices are thoroughly considered and based on simplicity and easy handling. Moreover, you are key in securing that our concepts are being generated, evaluated, selected and transferred into robust and simple designs. You use your hands-on experience to advise on the challenges that people with diabetes are facing, and you give your recommendation on how to facilitate and ease their condition. Participating in the development processes you contribute actively with your practical and experience-based expertise. Another of your tasks will be to arrange the logistics in connection with end-user focus groups and the succeeding data processing. All in all, this is a job where you enhance your medical skills in a strategically important project that has the management’s full attention.
Nurse with hands-on experience handling diabetes_Your expertise within the handling of diabetes either derives from a job as a hospital nurse or a home care nurse. Here you have become acquainted with people with diabetes and have learned about their efforts to continue living their normal lives. Most probably, you have advised on how to use the devices and as such, you are fully aware of the practical and day-to-day obstacles of using prefilled devices. You use this special practical knowledge to secure highest possible functionality and user-friendliness of our devices. As you will have to influence a long series of colleagues at all organisational levels and functions, you will need to be both self-motivating and convincing and yet have a sense of occasion. Besides, you need to have an open mind and a positive and team-oriented mindset as well as experience of project work. Lastly, you speak and write English and are used to working with MS Office.
