2 years, including 3 modules in multiple countries. As a graduate you will rotate eight months in three different countries in locations such as US, Sweden, China, India, Singapore, Spain, Germany, UK and Denmark. Today, we have 25 different nationalities in 20 different functions in 20 different locations. These are full-time, paid positions, progressing steadily in terms of challenge and responsibility. For each module, the emphasis is on giving you the tools, support and knowledge to learn on the job.

Trainee profile

You have recently graduated or will soon graduate with a Master’s Degree relevant to the track(s) you wish to apply for. With your impressive and international profile, you combine practical understanding with strong business acumen and excellent analytical and conceptual skills. As we expect our Graduates to quickly find their feet in various organizational settings and deliver consistent outstanding performance, we expect you to have at least one year of relevant experience from internships, student jobs or regular full-time employment.


As a candidate:
• You appreciate working within a fast-paced and changeable environment and you integrate well into a team setting
• Your high drive is evident from your accomplishments and you demonstrate a persistent and proactive approach to challenges ahead
• Independently, you identify need for improvements and gain support from relevant stakeholders to make change happen
• Your communication is clear and concise, including appropriate adaption to cultural diversity
• You show high awareness of your strengths and development opportunities, seek feedback and actively work towards advancing your competence
• Preferably, you have international experience from work, internship or stays abroad. You are looking for an international career both now and in the years to come
• You are fluent in both spoken and written English.

To apply, you must have a valid permanent work permit or resident status in one of the following regions; EU, USA or China. You will be starting your Graduate career in a country where you already hold a valid permanent work permit or resident status, and Vestas will help you obtain the necessary visas for your 2nd and 3rd modules.

Our Graduate Programme is a critical part of our strategy to seek out future business leaders, engineers and project managers; gifted individuals who would like to embark upon an exciting, global career at Vestas.

Challenging the world's best talent to take us forward. Launched in 2006, the Vestas Graduate Programme welcomes up to 70 highly talented individuals each year, with teams starting up in March and September. Our mission is to challenge and develop the best graduates, turning them into dynamic professionals who will take up key positions with us in the near future.
The two-year programme is divided into different graduate tracks, each comprising three eight-months assignments. Over the two years, you will work in three different locations, or business units, on different projects.
These are full-time, paid positions, progressing steadily in terms of challenge and responsibility. For each assignment, the emphasis is on giving you the tools, support and knowledge to learn on the job.

In order to be assessed for a Graduate position, you need to attach the following documents to your application:
• CV/resume listing your experiences and competences
• Cover letter
• Transcripts showing your Bachelor’s and Master’s degree results. If you have not yet finished your Master’s degree, please attach the results you have obtained so far.
• Answers to the following questions (max. 500 words in total):
- Describe the moment where you seized an opportunity to make a difference or an improvement.
- The Vestas Graduate Programme has a strong focus on personal development. What are the area(s) you should strengthen to equip yourself for an international career with Vestas, and why?

Not only does it prepare you for your future role and area of business, the program moves you through a variety of different areas – an ideal opportunity for you to think outside the box. Trainee program participants get to work in a variety of departments or companies, allowing them to get to know different parts of the business from the inside out. This provides you with a broad range of skills and knowledge, and provides a solid foundation on which to build up your own personal network.
