Holcim is a leading global supplier of cement, aggregates (crushed stone, gravel and sand) as well as ready-mix concrete and asphalt including related services. Our company was founded in 1912, in connection with the construction of a cement plant in Holderbank, Switzerland.

Holcim currently employs almost 90,000 people in over 70 countries worldwide. With market-oriented structures, new products, skilled employees and efficient environmental management systems, Holcim ensures a strong position now - and for the years ahead.

Holcim is member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
