Printing

Arvato's printing operations are among Europe's leading vendors in both gravure and offset. Its U.S. subsidiary, Offset Paperback Manufacturers, produces more than a million paperbacks each day. The merger of the German gravure operations agreed to with Gruner Jahr and Axel Springer AG has been successfully concluded with the formation of the Prinovis gravure joint venture. Arvato- new state-of-the-art gravure plant in Italy is now operational.

Anything that is stored on small, round silver discs is in good hands at Sonopress: The company, part of the Arvato Storage Media division, is the world's second-largest CD producer and Europe's No.4 in the production of DVDs worldwide. Sonopress manufactures every day more than 5 million data carriers worldwide for its base of prominet international customers.
