adidas, official sponsor of UEFA EURO 2008™, and Entrypark developed a pan-European student competition to promote adidas and find the best marketing talent. Entrants were given the opportunity to develop and submit a fresh, creative and original marketing concept for the UEFA EURO 2008™ and the winning team was awarded two tickets per member for a final round game.Out of the 204 teams that entered the competition, only four made it into the finals at the adidas Group Headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany; Alpen-Ambush, Road to Glory, Lymitosis and Chipmunks.

After a twenty-minute presentation followed by a Q&A session, the judging panel ranked the teams. The panel was very impressed with each group’s dedication to the task and the high quality of the concepts. Team Chipmunks from the business school INSEAD in Fountainebleau finally won the challenge with their concept “stripespotting”.

A camera team accompanied the participants of the final during the three days at the adidas Group Headquarters and created a video you can watch by clicking on the video below.
